An unusual Art Deco pale blue pressed glass serving bowl of c.1930s vintage, pentagonal in shape with a raised moulded geometric pattern to the exterior, measuring approximately 25.7cm (10.1in) across at the top and 9.8cm (3.85in) in height (max); there are no identifying marks. There is considerable age wear including numerous scratches and areas of scuffing / abrasion to the surface (especially the interior), the odd tiny nibble to the rim, some nibbles to the corners and edges of the moulded pattern to the exterior, and a couple of small knocks or fault lines to the lower edge above the feet, whilst the feet are worn and scratched with various chips and nibbles; there are some manufacturing irregularities including some tiny air bubbles and line / straw marks in the glass.
