A c.1930s powder container with screw-top lid moulded in an Art Deco design, complete with internal tray for a powder puff, in ivory-coloured plastic (probably urea formaldehyde), measuring approximately 10cm (3.95in) in diameter and 3.5cm (1.4in) in depth; the base is marked "BERTON. / LONDON.ENGLAND". There is a Y-shaped crack to the base of the container (visible both inside and out, but not affecting its structural integrity), each branch of which is about 1.5cm (0.6in) long; it is otherwise in good condition apart from some discoloration to the edges of the lid.
