An Art Deco lampshade, in what could be described as a "beehive" shape, made of white, orange, lime green, aqua blue and clear flaked glass (shiny to the exterior), and measuring approximately 13.4cm (5.3in) in height and 11.7cm (4.6in) in diameter at the base. The lampholder hole is of standard size for this type of shade (approximately 2.9cm / 1.15in in diameter), and thus the shade will fit a standard UK plastic pendant lampholder; it would be suitable for a pendant light in a small room, or perhaps for one of the swan-necked desk lamps of the period. The lower edge of the shade has some slight roughness and a few fleabites, whilst there is the usual roughness and nibbling around the lampholder hole (not visible in use); there are some scratches, slight scuffs and spot marks to the surface, whilst the glass contains some small air bubbles and other minor irregularities.
