Three c.1930s Art Deco frosted amber glass light shades, as used with metal frames or brackets for the popular wall-mounted and ceiling-hanging "shell" light fittings. These are the most common variety, measuring (in a straight line) approximately 25.8cm across at their widest and 20.9cm from top to bottom at the centre; all three are marked "REG. No. 863,667" in relief to the inside base. All three have various chips, nibbles and fleabites to the edges, most of which would not be visible in use (those at the top might be visible, but not overly so), together with various marks and some surface wear. There are numerous manufacturing irregularities and imperfections including small air bubbles, rough edges and lines in the glass; some of the outer edges of the moulding lack definition. (We also have for sale a hanging ceiling light frame of the correct size to fit these shades, although in need of restoration.)
