An Arcadian crested china miniature vase with "City of Winchester" crest and gilt rim, measuring approximately 5.7cm (2.25in) in height and 3.7cm (1.45in) in diameter at its widest; the base bears the "A&S / STOKE-ON-TRENT / ARCADIAN" printed stamp together with a red painted mark and an old pencil mark. The crest is in good condition apart from slight dullness to the enamel near the top; there is slight wear to the gilt rim together with slight scratching and scuffing to the glaze; there are some minor imperfections in the glaze, whilst the twin vertical moulding seams are clearly visible.
