A late Victorian or early 20th century oil lamp shade, in dual-layered glass (deep blueish green to the outside and white inside), measuring approximately 13.8cm (5.45in) tall, 9.75cm (3.8in) in diameter at the top edge, 18.6cm (7.3in) in diameter at the bottom edge, and 21.3cm (8.4in) in diameter at its widest. There are several nibbles and small shallow chips (some perhaps dating from manufacture) to the inner bottom edge, and some slight roughness together with some fleabites and tiny nibbles to the outer bottom edge, whilst there are a few short scratches to the surface; there are also some minor manufacturing irregularities, including a few small air bubbles in the glass (or between the two layers).
