A c.1930s "Allenbury's Glycerine & Black Currant Pastilles" tin (empty) with hinged lid, by Allen & Hanbury's, Ltd, London, E.2., measuring approximately 8.2 x 5 x 2.5cm (3.25 x 1.95 x 1in), and retaining most of the original paper seal / label at one end. There is a linear indentation to the base of the tin, together with some tarnish, spotting below the printing, scratching and wear to the edges of the exterior, and tarnish to the interior; the seal is discoloured with some rust marks.
