ABCA "Current Affairs" bulletin, no. 44, May 22nd, 1943, entitled "Women After the War".  This 16-page paper-covered booklet, which measures approximately 13.4 x 21cm (5.3 x 8.25in), is one of a series of fortnightly bulletins produced by the Army Bureau of Current Affairs (ABCA) during the Second World War; this edition contains a "presentation" of the topic by Miss Phyllis Bentley, preceded by a "lay-out for discussion".  The paper has yellowed with age with slight foxing, and there is slight wear including a crease to the back page, whilst there is some rust to the staples; the overall condition, however, is good.  Also included is a short letter which was inside the bulletin when we found it, from a Captain S. Evans to "My Dear Major", giving an address in Tonyrefail, giving the names of three young men to be sent to a NCO's course; the letter, however, is in a crumpled and torn condition with considerable foxing, with two numbers written in pencil upon the back.
