"A Present from Torquay" souvenir china moustache cup, c.1900-20

A souvenir china moustache cup, c.1900-20, in white glaze with moulded decoration, with the words "A Present from Torquay" in gilt to one side (there are also traces of gilt to the rims).  The cup, which measures approximately 7.7cm (3.05in) in height and 8.6cm (3.4in) in diameter at the top, bears no maker's mark, although there is a faint printed number "5" to the base, together with another impressed number.  There is some slight scratching to the surface and slight wear to the gilt lettering, together with some minor imperfections in the glaze and moulding.
