A good example of a souvenir china bell from the late nineteenth or early twentieth century, in white with gilt bands and an oval coloured pictorial transfer scene with the words "A Present from Portsmouth / Victoria Park". Measuring approximately 8.3cm (3.25in) high and 6.7cm (2.65in) in diameter at base, it comes with an unglazed porcelain clapper, probably original although attached with replacement wire, and gives a pleasant ring. It has various manufacturing imperfections, but is otherwise in good condition apart from some wear to the gilt on the handle.
