A. G. L. Hellyer (ed.), "Chrysanthemums" (Amateur Gardening Picture Book no. 1) (London, W. H. & L. Collingridge Limited, 1954; fourth impression 1961).  Hardcover (dark blue cloth boards with silver lettering) with original dustjacket, 60pp, measuring approximately 15.6 x 21 x 0.9cm (6.15 x 8.25 x 0.35in).  Contains numerous black and white illustrations.  The dustjacket is price-clipped, discoloured and marked with considerable wear including creases, tears, bumping and some loss to the edges; the cover is in good condition overall, although there is some discoloration / fading and slight wear to the edges together with slight marking, scuffing and a couple of small indentations to the boards; the inside covers are marked and discoloured with surface creasing, the inside front cover bearing the original owner's black ballpoint inscription with the date 1963; there is some discoloration to the pages with tanning to edges and occasional slight marks, plus some browning to the end pages.
