80th Birthday of Queen Mother commemorative bone china pin dish by Crown Staffordshire, 1980

A Crown Staffordshire Fine Bone China commemorative pin dish, produced "To commemorate the 80th Birthday of H.M. Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, 4th August 1980", in white glaze with colour transfer design incorporating a large portrait of the Queen Mother to the upper surface, commemorative transfer inscription and small Crown Staffordshire transfer mark to the underside, and gilt trim, measuring approximately 10cm (3.95in) diameter and 1.2cm (0.45in) deep at the edge.  There is some age wear including several small scratches and spots of abrasion to the surface, very slight wear to the gilt, and some marking to the foot; it is, however, a good quality piece with no apparent defects apart from the odd tiny bump in the glaze.
